PokémonSniper.com ("PokémonSniper," "we," "us," or "our") explains here how we handle personal information when you use PokémonSniper.com and its related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create or use an account, such as your email address and the content you enter into the Service. Depending on the features you use, this can include account details, chat messages, saved watches and their filters or price targets, collection or inventory details, and settings you choose.

We also process technical and security information needed to operate the Service, including session and security tokens, IP-address-derived rate-limit data, browser requests, and server logs. We use an authentication cookie to keep you signed in and security tokens to help protect account-changing requests.

When you accept our Terms in a registration, account-review, or purchase flow, we record the account identifier, server timestamp, applicable policy versions and content hashes, and IP address. We use these records to document the agreement, protect accounts and the Service, and address disputes.

If paid features are offered, payment processing and payment-related records may be handled by the payment provider and by us as needed to provide the purchase, support the account, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Do not send payment-card information to our support email.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service; authenticate users; maintain conversations, watches, and other requested records; answer support requests; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforce our terms; and comply with applicable law.

AI and card-market information

When you use the Ash chat feature, the conversation and relevant Service context, such as selected watch or catalog information, are sent to xAI to generate a response. xAI processes this information under its applicable service terms and data-handling settings; provider retention may differ from ours. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.

The Service may display or use card-catalog, guide-price, and sales-reference information associated with sources such as PriceCharting. Card images may load directly from third-party hosts, including PriceCharting and Google Cloud Storage. When your browser requests an image, its host receives your IP address and basic request information, such as your browser type. These sources, hosts, and marketplaces have their own privacy practices. We do not control their systems or policies.

When we share information

We use Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure, Supabase for authentication and database services, xAI for chat requests, and Resend for account email. If paid features are enabled, we may use Stripe for payment processing. These providers process information as needed for their roles. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect people or the Service, comply with law or a valid legal process, or enforce our rights.

Cookies and similar technology

We use essential cookies and browser storage for functions such as sign-in, security, and remembered interface preferences. If we add non-essential cookies or similar technology, we will provide any notice or choices required by law.

Legal bases and international processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the Service and perform our contract with you; for our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, service operation, and improvement; to meet legal obligations; and with consent where consent is required. Information may be processed in the United States and in other places where our providers operate, which may be outside your state, province, or country.

Your choices and requests

You may update certain account and Service information through the Service. To request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information, or to ask us a privacy question, email ash@pokemonsniper.com. Depending on where you live, you may have statutory privacy rights and may have the right to complain to your relevant data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, or resolving disputes. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the Service, maintain requested records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Service. Terms-acceptance records, when collected, are retained while an account is active and after closure only as needed for legal obligations, disputes, security investigations, or establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims, for no longer than necessary. Retention can vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected; we do not promise a single fixed retention period.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information to us, contact us at ash@pokemonsniper.com.
